My friend Jess and I patiently awaited the ticket release and stood in line behind 100 other girls when they came out. I knew that on the day of the event, I wanted to be up close and personal.
So...I got there super early, as in 3 hours before the event doors opened early! I was third in line and was super excited, after all this was on my bucket list.
We ended up getting the seats directly in front of the stage (eekkk)! When the time finally arrived and he stood on stage, he wasn't anything like I expected. He was just a normal, average guy who happened to have luck selling his love stories which eventually turned into movies.
He talked for about an hour, discussing his inspiration behind his novels which mainly come from his family. He talked about how he first started writing and about his current life...even discussing details of working with celebrities such as Zac Efron, Josh Duhamel, Channing Tatum and all those other hunks that us girls go crazy for!
Nick is currently working on a new book set to release in September. He says it has more of a suspense twist but it is still a love story. He also just signed on for a new movie that is currently in production called The Best of Me set to release in 2014!

He released free movie tickets for Safe Haven, his most recent movie, two days before it was set to premier on Valentine's Day! Having the ability to go see his new movie before the rest of the world and the fact that I paid nothing for them is something I will never forget!
