Formal Weekend Recap

This past weekend was filled with Formals!
Friday night Ben and I went to Alpha Phi Omega's Formal at the Westin! It was so beautiful, even better than my high school prom. We signed up to be 'sober bros' and therefore we were able to drive and not take the buses.
We also counted ballets for the APO King and Queen..fun, fun!
We had a lot of fun, tearing it up on the dance floor, mingling, and of course, people watching!! There were some entertaining people that night and I am happy no one got hurt.

Saturday we woke up with the whole day to spend together. We actually ended up going to 3 different shopping places....looking for a Kentucky Derby hat (& bows of course). I dragged Ben around everywhere and he was such a good sport (he must love me).
We found a couple different hats but I wasn't willing to pay $100 for a Derby hat, so the search continues.

Saturday was Tri Delta's Formal at the Crowne Plaza hotel downtown.

I wore this dress my freshman year of high school to a Homecoming dance! It's amazing how the time flies. 

They even played some old school Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears!
And they had a photo both, one of my favorite things at any event.

We know, we're dorks :)

We had a great time and it was so nice to spend a weekend with Ben. With all the work and class during the week, it was nice to relax and have some fun this weekend, especially before finals!
